March 2011 Squidoo Payment

I got around $220 plus for 60 lenses this time around. I deleted a lot of lenses in between coz they never performed and were utterly useless. They just contained a whole bunch of links with no substance, so I decided to delete them off rather than keep them in my account.

My Feb 2011 Squidoo Earnings

Got my Squidoo earnings few days back. It's now safely tucked away in my bank account. I'm thinking of buying my own apartment and stuff and hopefully Squidoo will help me out with that. Keeping my own wants limited as of now :)

Anyway, to cut the long story short -

No.of lenses on Feb 2011 - 65

Total Earnings - $204

Altogether my online earnings were around $400 this month around. I decided to venture out there and offer some services apart from Squidoo-ing. I did get some affiliate sales, but I won't be counting that in the total earnings until I get my hands on the checks ! I had thought of uploading a pic of my PayPal earnings to the blog, but then I forgot to take a screenshot. I remembered only after I withdrew the earnings :P

I was going through my old notes and I found out that I have entered the $200 mark earlier than I had expected. Coolness no? It feels awesome to surprise yourself sometimes!

Hope your Squidoo earnings were good this time around! I'm not expecting much for next month, but fingers crossed :)

I Am Back!

I guess I haven't been all that punctual here. Just got busy :) Anyway, I realized I had blogged way back on October 2009! I am now 2 years old on Squidoo and guess what? My pay is still higher than the number of lenses I have!

Currently now I'm at 87 lenses! And my pay last time around was in the $200 region. Not bad. But I could do so better!

I have kept a record of my earnings till now and I am pleased at the rate it has been going (meaning - the earnings have never slid; it has only increased each month). I hope this goes on for me. I'm now completely working at home and is essential that I prove my success to those around me.

RedGage Review

I saw good reviews of RedGage on a lot of sites, so I decided to give it a try yesterday. I had registered long back but never got the time to check it out thoroughly. I have almost got the hang of it now!

... And I'm loving it!

Within 4 hours of joining, I get a very nice $3 on my dashboard! What you do on RedGage is similar to what you would do on Social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace etc. except that you're earning money doing all that through RedGage! You upload your content - blog entries, photos, videos etc etc and if the moderators like what you have posted they give you some extra cash as bonus.

You can withdraw your money when you get a total amount of $25. Raffles are also held daily which increases your chance of getting some more cash. Oh, do be informed that instead of directly getting cash in your hand or through PayPal, you will get a RedGage Visa Card instead which you can use absolutely anywhere. They will mail the card to you once your pay reaches $25.

November 2009 Payout Review

Hope everyone (Squids especially) are having a great start to the year !

November payout was just awesome - I need not mention it! If you go to the forums, you can see the excitement and joy it brought about to Squids. I am one such fortunate lil Squid who is really pleased with her payment for November '09.

I hardly keep tag of how many lenses I create per month. I have about 39 lenses now. My pay for November 09 almost reached the three figures! To be more specific I got $86.20. ALMOST there.

Don't think the good luck will continue though. Maybe it will be better in December, but it will just return back to Square one in January. Traffic is still good!

I am just setting small targets for myself now. I am not aiming to get $500-$1000 now itself. I guess you'll have to be really gifted in affiliate marketing too, first of all, to get THAT much of amount. So as I learn, I will try to set myself achievable targets. My target as of now - Earn $100 per month! No no, don't laugh. I know the amount may not look that much, but that's my target for now - achieving what I want on Squidoo step by step!

Will definitely let you know when I reach that target of mine ! Hopefully in this lifetime ;)

October 2009 Squidoo Earnings

As promised, I am going to post my Squidoo Earnings for each month. Pay day was about 2 days ago and I am pretty much happy with what I got this time around. I got thrice the pay of last month.

October 2009 Earnings - $41

Total number of lenses in October - 20 or less than 20 lenses (yup, I am just bad at keeping count)

It's my best pay till date. I got some sales through Amazon and Ebay as well which made things a lil better. The number of lenses weren't much back in October. It still isn't considering I haven't touched 50 yet! :D

Total number of lenses at the moment - 33

It's not so bad according to me. As long as the pay is more than the number of lenses I have, I am all good!

Three Reasons Why I Prefer Squidoo Over Hubpages...

Hubpages is a great place to join, but so is Squidoo. Now why do I prefer Squidoo?

- Squidoo monetized my webpage in a matter of minutes. This is great for Indians who have not yet applied for an Adsense account, or who have their Adsense account disabled for some weird reason. For those who are not aware, you have to wait for at least six months to get your Adsense account approved in India or China. This is actually justified owing to the large number of click frauds that happen in both of these countries. I feel bad that coz of the bad apples in the bunch, the rest of us are getting deprived of the service too. Anyhoo, this is one of the reasons why I prefer Squidoo. I have to wait for six months now to get my hubpages monetized. *Sigh*

- For some personal reason, I will always be attached to Squidoo coz this is where I joined first. I got a lot of help in the forums. Quite a helpful bunch. I can never forget that! I learned a helluva lot coz of these forums , Squidoo lenses and hence I am slightly partial.

- I heard about Hubpages not promoting any X-Rated stuff and no adult content, but I landed up on their home page and I see porno picture (nude photography) hubs being highlighted. Err ? These are not adult lenses ? Or adult content is not allowed BUT porno pics are okay ? I did see some hubs of similar themes too, but I chose not to enter them coz I wasn't interested and highly put off by the hi-fi claims of not having X-Rated content (or adult content) at all. I am still new to hubs and hubpages so I don't know the site in detail but one thing's for sure -- I didn't like those hubs being highlighted in the home page! Squidoo is much more family oriented if such things are to be considered.

After going through two blogs primarily used for promoting products, I decided to just rant and rave over here about Squidoo -- my own personal experience, thoughts, views, help, blah blah...you get the picture!

Oh! In case you didn't know, let me get all things straight -- yes, I am in love with Squidoo! Who isn't? I mean, which lensmaster isn't? It's a case of love at first write for almost all of us. We don't get paid for two months but we still stick on coz somehow we know that things can get better for us, if we just stick in there!

Starting from next month (Dec 09) you will see me publicly declaring my Squidoo stats and earnings. If you're earning more than me, those stats can make you grin and smile to yourself, (yeah, take pride!) but if you're earning lesser than me, well ...
