Three Reasons Why I Prefer Squidoo Over Hubpages...

Hubpages is a great place to join, but so is Squidoo. Now why do I prefer Squidoo?
- Squidoo monetized my webpage in a matter of minutes. This is great for Indians who have not yet applied for an Adsense account, or who have their Adsense account disabled for some weird reason. For those who are not aware, you have to wait for at least six months to get your Adsense account approved in India or China. This is actually justified owing to the large number of click frauds that happen in both of these countries. I feel bad that coz of the bad apples in the bunch, the rest of us are getting deprived of the service too. Anyhoo, this is one of the reasons why I prefer Squidoo. I have to wait for six months now to get my hubpages monetized. *Sigh*
- For some personal reason, I will always be attached to Squidoo coz this is where I joined first. I got a lot of help in the forums. Quite a helpful bunch. I can never forget that! I learned a helluva lot coz of these forums , Squidoo lenses and hence I am slightly partial.
- I heard about Hubpages not promoting any X-Rated stuff and no adult content, but I landed up on their home page and I see porno picture (nude photography) hubs being highlighted. Err ? These are not adult lenses ? Or adult content is not allowed BUT porno pics are okay ? I did see some hubs of similar themes too, but I chose not to enter them coz I wasn't interested and highly put off by the hi-fi claims of not having X-Rated content (or adult content) at all. I am still new to hubs and hubpages so I don't know the site in detail but one thing's for sure -- I didn't like those hubs being highlighted in the home page! Squidoo is much more family oriented if such things are to be considered.
